HOW MANY THINGS I'VE READ (skimmed through) IN 7 WEEKS
- Kiss of the Spider Woman
- Of Love and Other Demons
- The Boarding House
- Odour of Chrysanthemums
- Eveline
- Hamlet
- Merchant of Venice
- Beowulf
- Faerie Queene
- Canterbury Tales (only the General Prologue, Miller's Tale and Knight's Tale lah. You think I'm siao?)
- Shakespeare's Sonnets
- Astrophil and Stella
- Lycidas
- Fern Hill
- Blake's Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience
- Ozymandias
- Sailing to Byzantium
- Some of Auden's work - WHICH I READ BY MISTAKE NI NA BEI
- PLUS most (most being the operative word) of my sociology readings
and there's still more to come
major ones:
- Robinson Crusoe
- The FUCKING theories in Everyday Theory
- Metamorphosis
- THE REREADING OF KOTSW
- Paradise Lost
this is why we need the one week break. so the "most" that we have read can become "all" that we have read.
so the point of this post was not just to celebrate that but to also distract me from potentially destructive thoughts of something that really isn't there but imagined feverishly to be here.
selene: you two passive ...
yes, if only
but cannot so bye bye.
